Ok. I'll open that up next week and look for a bad ground or maybe just replace the entire antenna assembly. These used to go on my '90 but this '97 still has its original. Wondering if that relay is included in an antenna kit?
I haven't been using the fob to disarm the alarm and all is working just fine. I still don't understand why the radio fuse would short out after repeated use of the key fob. The antenna certainly is not engaged when the button gets pressed. Am I missing something here? Many thanks for the suggestion though.
