There are no absolutes, but there is more information, and there is less information. BL gives us zero information about the performance and behavior of its product over the entire range of possible system conditions and variables. So we are reduced to 1) expressions of faith that "if you keep your system in 'good' condition, you are OK" and 2) PURE SPECULATION about whether failures were coincidence or whether BL played a contributing role.

>>> Should BL run tests to determine when their product might not be good for a shaky/imminently clogged cooling system?

Should drug companies run tests to determine the range of applicability and possible side effects of their product over a variety patient conditions?

The drug companies not only do extensive testing but put out mind-numbing fine print about the results, so doctors and their patients can know about the risks involved. In contrast, we have zero information about the risks of using BL. I would be surprised if BL hasn't done such testing. But what are the results, why have they not been disclosed, and why is there absolutely no guidance whatsoever about the risks involved in using BL?

Should we take the total lack of information and guidance as a statement that BL will never do any harm under any condition? Or is BL hiding something, probably for marketing as well as liability reasons. In particular, a knowledge that in a number of situations (perhaps statistically small but nevertheless nonzero) BL can have a negative effect?
