Glad you found someone who had the time and patience (and knowledge) to sort it out! I'm curious what he found with the Pressure Regulator. The line pressure regulator is internal to the Fuel Distributor and is just a little spring loaded plunger that lifts when the pump is on and closes against an o-ring when the pump is off. Did the o-ring just fail and cause a leak? That would cause the problem.
Thanks, and glad your car is running right again!
Gary
