After cleaning the grounds and contact shoes of all the light sockets, I now have what amounts to a legal lighting scheme. I also discovered that the leads were swapped on the left blinker, so that the blinker element would stay illuminated, negating the much dimmer park element of the 1157 bulb which was now functioning as the blinker element when the turn signal was activated. Now, the dimmer park element stays on with lights on and blinkers work when called upon. Chris, that 99 looks to be a euro version. Should my US 99T have that lighting scheme, or is it right as it is now? Sorry If I didn't clarify this from the gitgo. I did manage to get the white side marker lights under the turn signals to illuminate, but only with the turn signal leads reversed, which makes my turn signals useless.
But for now, everything works as advertised. Thanks for the help and ideas guys!
Leif
