Fuse ratings are generally about double the designed load of a circuit. Euro ceramic ratings are 5, 8, 16, 25, I think those are all I have ever seen. 95/96 Saabs are all 8, IRRC, maybe a 16. May vary with year. At any rate, you should be fine replacing 8 with 7.5 or 10, and 16 nwith 15 or 20 amp blade fuses. 10 and 20 are what I would use. Stick some spare fuses in the extra slots if you have some. Be sure to keep a chart in the car of which is what.
