Smeagol and the electric water pump - IT'S ALIVE!!!

For those of you who subscribe to the vsaab email list, you may know I installed a Davies Craig electric water pump and controller on my '67 96 V4, "Smeagol" about 1500 miles ago.
FYI - My engine is a 1.7L with electric fan, Saab 9000 radiator, 2bbl Weber 32/36 DGEV, MSS exhaust, big valves, ported intake, etc. about 100 hp at the crank, 83 hp at the wheels.
So how has it worked out?
The DC electric water pump works like a charm. Keeps Smeagol cool even on 105 degree days sitting in traffic after a long 75 mph highway run, does a really neat cool down cycle when I shut it off to avoid heat soak and I'm getting another 5+ free horsepower not cavitating coolant at higher rpm. Add to this less strain on my counter balance shaft bearings because I don't have to pull a water pump and I'm golden.
I'll update as I rack up the miles, but the pump is rated at 7000 hours with their controller, so I'm hoping for many miles of cool running ahead. (Knock wood!)
