In case you are not on the club mailing list or do not check the club web which you should this is a reminder. Our first club meet will be next Saturday May 22nd at the BlackHawk auto museum. This will be a rare opportunity to get a private tour of the museum led by former BASC president Doug Morse. Check the club web by clicking on the link at the top of this page for directions and start time.
Our second meet will be a driving event taking place at the end of June. We will meet at the Lafayette BART station in the east bay. From there club member David Williams will lead us on a drive starting on Upper Happy Valley Rd., Happy Valley Rd., Bear Creek to Alhambra Valley Road through the town of Pinole finally ending up in Crocket at the foot of the Carquinez bridge. We will have lunch at the Nantucket Seafood restaurant at the Foot of Port St., Crocket, CA, have a club meet, view cars etc.
The third club meet will take place in July at B&B SAAB a dealership located at 2983 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA. Our host will be Parts Manager Shawn Pierson. Guaranteed to be fun and full of surprises! We are leaving the month of August open for those attending the national convention in WA.
Our fourth event taking place in the fall (Sept./Oct.) will be the ever popular Santa Cruz mountains wine tour and drive. Usually our biggest turn out because the event involves driving twisty roads, SAABs, drinking-for some, more driving, food, and more SAABs!
