I had the same issues with the left rear turn signal, after an initial light replacement, the light burned out again (approx 10K/6 mths later) and my dealer's mechanic noticed melting of the socket; it took about 2 -4 week to get a new tail light ($700, luckily it was covered by an after market warranty). So far so good. Use your left ticker sparingly!
