2002 9-3 SE, manual, 20k... new, beautiful, and sassy as can be. Love it!
Yesterday I was turning on a quiet little street. Then I heard a horrible metallic noise. Oh shoot and what the shizza.
After about an hour of reaching, contorting, and some minor cuts ouch, I discovered 2 metal items had come loose and were just chilling between the interior lining and sheetmetal of the lowermost portion of the trunk lid, on the driver's side. (i.e., the area that is inaccessible without pulling some of that ghetto gray lining back and reaching in through place where you change the rear driver's side reverse light.)
The two pieces I recovered were a rather large round washer with adhesive residue on it and a small nut with a free-spinning ring. I suspect that because of their location these items could only have come from some part of the rear wiper assembly and whathaveyou and whatnot.
However, from the outside, everything still appears to be attached. Of course I am somewhat afraid to see if the rear wiper works, I'm a pussy I know be quiet and shaddup.
Any ideas? I suppose I could just go to my dealer and say, "Yo, homey, I just found these pieces inside my car. Fix it por favor and gracias."
Hollah!
