be sure you clear the sid frequently or the reading is inaccurate also. Scott is right on re: damage to the pumps. Your essentially running the pump dry and that is not good. Saab apparantly has had complaints about this from customers who ran out of gas. The new cars say"time to refuel" when you get below like 40 miles DTE. Also this could be an issue which warranty won't cover if you damage the pump. The check engine light will show that the missfire was triggered in conjunction with low fuel level... maybe your fault? The lesson... get gas when it gets to 50
