I hope I'm wrong.
My worry is that SAAB's will start to compete with Chevys as far as being prone to rust and having cheap, faded paint.
When cars are new, you can't tell. That's the way car companies like it. Only later do you find that some cars suffer an epidemic of paint chips, rusty metal, and faded paint.
My last classic 900 was 13 years old and still had shiny paint, no rust, and very few chips.
Before accusing GM, let's wait and see. I've bought 4 SAABs since 1982, SAABs being my first and one cars with the exception of a temporary car in 1982 and 2003-2005.
