Check all the vacuum hoses that connect to the throttle body. Make sure they are tight and not cracked anywhere.

If you have never done these things listed below, it will really make your car run smoother. These are in addition to changing an gapping your new plugs.

Remove and Clean the throttle body.
Remove and clean the IAC valve that is next to the throttle body.
Remove and clean the purge valve, mounted on the passenger side strut tower.

I was surprised at how much black soot and stuff was inside my IAC and TB at 55K.

I was able to print off detailed step by step instructions for these procedure. Real easy to do, just search the BB to find the instructions.
