Very funny where this is going - my only comment is imagine a world without either one, what would the audi fans drive / what would the saab fans drive? I have often asked myself that and I cannot say I know of another car that I would be drawn to jump into.
When I was 16 I bought a 1972 99 LE - the engine castings ( British Engine ) were terrible, but that car taught me everything about saab that I now know.
I suppose the one thing I always get asked is why not a german car, but to me the interiors always feel clinical - like I am in a Dr's office, the saab has more poetry in its lines and as simple as it sounds that is a big reason why I am drawn to them - let me make it clear, nothing against the germans, the clothes are just not cut to fit me.
Finally, this BB is great, it is a daily education.
