Why would you think anything over "a few hundred pounds" would be a strain? Would you have a problem driving the car with say, three 250lb passengers and some luggage in the trunk? That's nearly a 1000lbs! Given that with a small trailer that 1000lbs isn't even tasking the suspension, it really isn't an issue as long as you use your head. Which you should be when towing anyway.

In Europe, most people do not have trucks and SUVs. They tow trailers with their CARS. BIG trailers too, relative to the size of the car. And a NG900 is a good sized car in Europe.
