I totally understand your comment about viscosity and the fact that 10w30 would flow just fine in most climates. I guess I am looking for real life pros and cons of going to 0w30. So far I have not heard of any reason not to, other than it just is not necessary. This thinner oil should be more efficient, but due to it being thinner would it cause or allow more wear? This is what I am getting at. Not that I am driving Santa Clause around this year and will be running my Saab in -50 degree weather. If the oil allows the engine to be more efficient why not use it? I can't wait for someone to say, "Well why not just put water in your engine?, that is even thinner!" Just curious.
Thanks all.

PS no more information about arctic climates needed:O
