Since the Talladega was, as I understand it, essentially a cosmetics option, if it has all the cosmetic "stuff" in place then I guess it would be considered a Talladega?
Here's a post that lists the Talladega trim option, it says 500 were made, but I think Talladega was available in '97 and '98 so maybe that is 500 per model year?
I've just recently looked at few Talladegas in SoCal and the hard thing to find is one with the original Talladega Super Aero wheels and a chin spoiler that is not trashed...
