Hello,
I don't think you can open it up to replace any parts in it. It is screwed to the side of the ac evaporator. So remove glove box and inner side trim. You will find a black plastic piece being held in with one screw on the end of the evaporator housing. Remove it ( a T20) and you will see the fan speed controller/blower controller. It is is screwed in to the side of the evaporator and plugs in with about a 10 inch lead to the connector. If you replace it make sure you put some dielectric grease on the base of the controller were in contacts the evaporator. It uses the evaporator as a big heat sink and dielectric grease increases that contact. Good Luck, Bernie
