along w/ the "hot air intake kit !" & those headers are begging to have lava wrap tape on them !( we live in the desert would NEED these mods ! & would give mo' HP due to cooler IAT ) cool headers ! what brand? and the intake pipe fr the air filter ? thx
For those that want the ultimate cool air intake,
bought this to insulate my pipe that goes to the intake manifold fr the intercooler only $45 ! only bummer is it's not long enough ! will have to get another , cut it up ( maybe i'll turn it over- don't dig the laces tho they give you a choice of red , yellow , blue ! LOL keeping the intake air cooler has huge power advantages and every 20 deg F reduction is like raising the fuel octane .2 points as I recall so more HP !
there is a reason Saab went to a plastic air intake tube ! heat soak increasing the IAT !
