Hi SWEDECAR, thank you for the response. I did "jump" the Low Fan relay and when I do, the fan kicks on. Not as forcefully as when I "jump" the HI Fan relay in the engine bay. The resistor has been modded to a power resistor in aluminum casing rated at 100W and 0.2ohms, can't really remember the rating. But there is Low and Hi speed function.
You say there two independent circuits that operate the fan on the car. So it might be that both failed or are faltering on the car.
What triggers the ACC to turn the fan on ? Does it have Low and Hi functionality ?
