I have an '02 Viggen, 5d, red, 141K miles. I did my front bumper, but it was majorly trashed - two large splits on the underside, and pulled away from the car on both sides. The body shops around me are expensive, and it cost me $2200 for a new one (old one unfixable), with paint and installation. It was a very professional job, at least.
I'm about to put in silicon vacuum hoses and also install a silicon intake system kit that'll hopefully last. I'm getting a leak and can no longer get into the red with my boost, which is similar to what happened to my '91 9000 turbo. That turned out to have a rip in the back side of the rubber connector going into the throttle body, which opened up under boost. Took me 5 years to find it, as it was neatly closed otherwise.
I've had the whole front suspension re-done, with Koni adjustable shocks. Other things I'm thinking about in the future: rear Koni shocks, thicker rear sway bar (GenuineSaab), 6-point GenuineSaab brace, hard wiring a power supply for a dashcam and radar detector into the fuse box, engine mounts.
This is a tremendous car, I must say. I've had it for 6 years and can't imaging what I would replace it with.
