Yea a good contribution to the knowledge base , hmmm so a sort of vacuum leak ? and we don't mean to beat you up for sharing an issue .
we are just different I will not continue to drive a car w/a serious(appearing)issue it could become catastrophic failure . we've blown up more than a few motors
So let me be helpful
we used to diagnose leaks in intake tract like that by spraying contact cleaner, maybe flexing the hoses manually on possible bad hoses like that
it would get sucked into the motor and you could instantly detect an issue and see where .
Of course, we were professional mechanics. so there is a time-saving tip for the busy man !
I guess that is one reason why I was surprised usu leaks are, IME so easy to spot , detect of course maybe it only did it in situ whilst in motion at speed. unlikely but possible, motor shifts , slight crack opens etc why manually flexing the hoses usu can work .
