I'm sure I must be out of my mind on this one, but:

I have a '96 900S 4-dr auto that I bought new in '97. I accessorized it to the max with all Saab goodies (ie.: SE sound system, wood dash/glovebox/door handles, roof racks, CD changer, Borbet 16" alloys w/Falken Ziex tires, and much more).

Long story short--had kid 2 years later, gave it to the wife and took her 2-dr Camry coupe V6 (very hot car, rally red, just was never my style), recently bought '98 9000 CSET auto to replace Camry, and bought Buick Rendevous because of kid # 2 coming along. (am still trying to sell the Camry, however...)

I always loved the '96 900S, but now also love my '98 9000. The 900S has 129K miles, and is in mint condition. The 9000 has 50K miles and is in mint condition. Both cars drive and feel different from each other (of course). I love the turbo in the 9000, and wish the 900S was turbo. The 900S is built on the new platform, with more up-to-date electronics, as well as more accessories available for it (all 9-3 stuff works on it).

Probably because of my sentiments for the 900S am I having a dilemma over which to choose. It's been like family to me. But it still drives great, and has never had a problem (knock on wood). On the other hand, I had to have the tranny replaced in the 9000 soon after purchasing it (under warranty, thank goodness), so basically I've got a new tranny in it.

So............what's your opinion? Which one has to go?
