When the NG900 was first introduced (as a '94 model) the V6 was equip in a "launch package" for lack of a better term. And at that time the V6 was available in the S. It didn't have some of the features that the later SE V6's would have (if I remember it was at least no ACC, and no power seats)... So, yes there are "real" S V6's out there, but I don't think there are too many...
