The problems that you list here are somewhat common. Do a google search for volvo&saab dismantlers. There is a place in southern california that might have what you are looking for the ACC (electronic fan controller). I got mine from the last week (have not installed it yet). There are several posts in the board that detail the installation. One has links to pictures.

The CD player not being recognized by the console is another common problem. Check the FAQs on this site on how to reboot the system. I believe is something to do with Fuses 11 or 13, I cannot recall the details. <b>IMPORTANT: DO NOT></b> reboot the system unless you have the radio code with you.
