Wow! Last night I was just relaxing, watching TV, when this ad comes on. Attractive suburban couple in the morning, preparing for the day, when out of nowhere comes this hideous monster, bustin' up the house and breakin' stuff EVERYWHERE! The cute housewife she fights back while her husband's shaving. She beats that beast back from whence it came! And here's the punchline: it came FROM UNDER THE HOOD OF THEIR CAR!!!
It was a Mercedes. I can't remember the type. I think it was a '55 AMG but they never told me what "AMG" stood for. "A Monster in the Garage?" It looks like a nice car. It backed out of the driveway pretty quickly.

Seriously, folks. Most people on this BB don't seem to happy with the "State of Independence" ad campaign. All of a sudden it doesn't seem so bad. Is this all Mercedes can do in promoting what must be one of the best cars they've ever built? Not that I've ever driven an E55 AMG but COME ON!!!
