Refrigerator, well pump and sump pump are all motors. Refrigerator is about 900 watts. Well pump could be 2000 W or even much more depending on how deep the well is. My father-in-law's is about 7500 W. Sump pump could be as low as 600W. Total, using the smaller numbers, is 3500 W. Add in 50 W for the TV and how ever many lights it takes. Check the rating of the battery pack. You are probably way above its output capability. You are also probably above a small Honda rating also. Part of the problem is that motors can draw as much as 10 times normal during start up. That causes severe voltage drop and the motor just can not start. So even though the generator can pull the motor once it gets started, it can not start the motor.
