but then I realized the goofy little bastard lives in Ski-town colorado, has a really pretty girlfriend and drives an imported turbocharged targa that he has time to work on. That most sane people would think his ride looks tacky is rather beside the point, isn't it?
Judging from the site and comments, the kid's managed to leverage a fun but cheesy ride into what a conversation starter, and is having a good time doing it. It's even a little tongue-in-cheek (Lamarossa?!) More power to him, but I don't even he think's he's fooling anyone. Besides, the last time I checked my mailbox, Ferrari was not sending my any finders fees for identifying obvious knock-off attempts.
