Girlfriends Mustang II. Worn out rings, but trying to find out otherwise. Carb off,for a quick rebuild. Hey great time to run a compression check. So I lay on top of the engine right where the fuel line that should go to the (now removed) carb bowl is,all the plug wires. Hey no carb I don't have to wedge the plates open to run the compression check. So jump in and turn the key. After a few seconds of cranking, here comes the fireball. Hmmmm, how to put out the fire? Grab the shovel from my pickup and throw some dirt on it. Now it gets bad. I was in the parking lot at work which at the time was in front of the military barracks I was residing in. Sooooo here comes the base fire department.Did I mention she was the dispacher for the fire crew?
