7 fatalities in the last week - Nashville area... I don't believe any of them involved SUV's, but something has definitely gotten in the water around here...maybe it's the weather. Regardless, it is very rare when you hear of a fatality around here, but there have been 7 just this past week.
1) A delivery truck smashed into the rear of a stopped semi-truck at highway speeds...no sign that he ever applied the brake...delivery truck driver killed.
2) A FedEx truck crosses the median and hits on-coming traffic...2 dead.
3) A pickup smashes into the rear of a stopped semi-truck at highway speeds...pickup driver died instantly. (Note: I passed this wreck the other morning...the late-model Nissan Frontier pickup was demolished beyond recognition...it was the worst I've ever seen)
There were several others, but I either can't find the story or don't remember the details. Hopefully next week will be a little better for us Tennesseans. It's crazy out there. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
