They clearly linked it to another driver being distracted by operating his cell phone. In most cases people get away with eyes being diverted from the road for a moment but all it takes is a second for everything to change in front of you and you better be ready to identifiy and react immediately. In this case traffic slowed and he slammed into the back of line of cars creating a 6 to 10 car wreck and massive fire that closed an interstate down.
Driving is serious business. People need to learn to shut up, buckle up, and drive. That is the task at hand period. Just last week as I was driving to work and approaching an MB on a two lane road I watched the driver look down onto his passenger sit. With his eyes diverted his car crossed the center line by about 1 foot. Then he looks up bringing his phone to his ear and luckly his car back into his own lane just as I am getting on the horn and looking for the shoulder and ditch. By this point I can clearly see his face. I am sick of this crap. Shouldn't matter what your doing you shouldn't be doing it if you can't even keep your vehicle in your lane.
