EPA numbers are way off real life. There was a report in Car&Driver how those are calculated and it was something like MPG on a rolling drum at certain speed multiplied by "correction factor". Car aerodynamics was not a factor.
My Supra get 20-21 mpg on a highway and 19-20 in my city cycle while EPA says 19-26. At the same time my 9-5 wagon typically outperforms it's highway mpg.
