I spent hours with this same questions. What i did was remove the wood facia and used the self sticking swivel mounting piece and mounted it to the left side of the vent over the SID.

I drilled (4) small holes into the mount, and purchased (4) 2" bolts and double nuts. I inserted the bolts throught the vents and used a washers and the double nuts to hold it to the inside of the vent. I can no longer move the position of the vent, but still get lots of air through it.

I than removed the blank switch below the TCS switch and drilled a small hole it this. I passed the power and antenna cable through it and also stuffed the extra cassette cable into the dash. I cut in a cig adapter behind the dash. I plugged the provided cig adapter from the roady2 into this. I ran the antenna cable to the left behind the dash and steering wheel. I ran the cable through the fuse panel door and out. I hide the wire under the rubber gasket up the wind shield and along the roof/door edge to the back window. Inserted the wire into the gasket behind the rear window to the center of the roof, than ran the cable about 6" forward and mounted the antenna there.

I have some photos of the interior work, but no website to post them to to include in this response.

I travel 1000-2000 miles per week and just this weekend paid for another 6 months. I love the radio and now rarely listen to FM.

Total job took me about 1 1/2 hours
