There's a low volume Saab dealership in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with a service department -- Graham Auto, 711 West 41st St., Phone: 605-336-3655, website http://www.grahamauto.com
And there's a great dealership about 20-25 south of I-90, south of Rochester, MN, Meyer Garage in McIntire, Iowa. Address: 2687 480th Street. McIntire, IA 50455. Toll Free 888.722.2246 website http://www.meyersaab.com. Meyer Garage does a lot with the MN and IA Saab clubs, and although I've never met them they're supposed to be really great people. And although Meyer is a dealership, they have very decent labor rates (which makes sense since they're not in a big city).
There used to be a Saab dealership in Albert Lea, MN, right off I-90. One of the master mechanics from that dealership has his own repair shop nearby in Hartland, MN (about 15 miles north of I-90, IIRC). I forget his name unfortunately, but he ran a classified ad in NINES either last summer or last fall advertising some c900's for sale, and I went down to check them out. It was a real brief ad, but if you look through the ads and see Hartland, MN, that's him. He's in the process of retiring, but might be a good resource for a breakdown, if for some reason you couldn't get the additional 50-60 miles down the road to Meyer.
My Mom taught in the Marysville, WA school district for 16 years, up until 2004. I love the Everett area -- beautiful country.
