My alarm clock is one of those "atomic" clocks that automatically synchronizes with the official clock in Colorado Springs, or some such place. Last night when I went to bed, I noticed it hadn't corrected itself, so I set it manually. During the night, it set itself back to standard time.
Fortunately, I woke up just a few minutes late, and was able to get to work on time. But in this case, an old, low-tech clock would have done a better job.
