- Steering Wheel Buttons (specifically radio controls). My last three vehicles had them and I just don’t use them. My detest grew even further when I got my Saab and realized out of eight buttons only six even did anything. I will occasionally use the volume button but eventually fall back to the knob on the dash board. The seek, source, and next buttons I never use because I’m either listening to my MP3 player or Satellite Radio which have their own set of controls. I would tolerate the buttons if manufactures made them “user programmable”. Example: change the seek button to control drivers side temperature.
- Sunroof, Moonroof, whatever you call them. I always keep the sun shade closed and rarely open the glass. Besides, if I wanted sun and air on the top of my head I would have bought a convertible. But it seems to me that between the glass, motor, controls, extra trim and weather-stripping, that’s a lot of money for something that gets wasted (a $1,200 option on the 93 2.0). With the higher end models the sunroof is not really an option, it's standard.
