Interesting article in today's Wall Street Journal front page of the Personal Journal section, subtitled "European car Makers Sweeten Vacation Deals for U.S. Drivers who Travel Abroad to Buy". It talked about the European Delivery Programs of Saab Audi BMW, Volvo and others (although the only picture was a 9-3 Aero on a frozen lake) There was a paragraph that states "A new Saab Option allows you to Opt in to the "Ice Experience" in which participants travel 125 miles north of the Arctic Circle to spend three days in frozen territory. Highlights of the trip include helicopter, dogsled, and snowmobile rides as well as a test drive on a frozen lake. This option costs $3500/couple but the company includes a $2000 stipend in its European Delivery Package"
Have any of you folks heard about/done this? It sounds pretty "cool" [pardon the expression!]
