Breathalyzers work by pulling in air and looking for alcohol molecules. Spill some alcohol-laden washer fluid on your hands or clothes, and those molecules will be hanging around your person. The fumes could be breathed in and then back out into the breathalyzer, or simply drift into the breathalyzer before the woman blew into it, depending on how it purges. And with the very low Swedish limits, it doesn't take a lot of alcohol in the air.

Any tool can be misused.
