some where I remember reading something about shifting at the point where the next gear would be at the top of the torque or HP (which ever would have dropped off with the revs) and then pull to the that point again...
So as stated the flat torque curve would seem to obscure that point with our turbos, so would you want to shift as you pass the max HP then if that point doesn't drop you out of the torque curve in the next gear?
