I purchased a 05 Honda Pilot a year ago for my wife and she loves it. we have the EX model that has all the bells and wissels. Leather, CD changer, DVD player, climate control and all the other stuff. I paid 16k a year ago and it had 46k on the odometer. You won't have to worry about the snow. There is a differential lock that you can use at low speads in the snow or if you get stuck. There is more than enough room to carry practically anything. It seats eight people if need be, but the back seats are not comfortable for adults. I think you should be able to find one in the $15K price range. If I were you I would look at ones that cost 16K+ and tell them you have 15k and that is it. The origonal asking price on my Pilot was $18.5K. You can always haggle. I looked at about 5 of them before I found the one I wanted. Also always be ready to walk away there is always another deal to be had.
Good luck,
Rich
