Including my 2008 9-3 Aero. What Saab / GM should be embarrased about is the abysmal quality of the interior of my car, coupled with the abnormally inflated price tag. My decision to buy (lease in my case) last year was 100% emotional, not rational. Every other car I looked at was much higher quality (Acura, Lexus, Infinti). GM is to blame for homogenizing the brand. GM is the enemy here. The moment they saved Saab by buying a majority share, they also secured it's death warrant. I think we've all known this all along whether we wanted to admit it to ourselves or not.
I had planned to lease a new 9-5 next year, but now who knows. I will certainly not lease it if GM retains the product but kills the brand and the 9-5 is badged as a Chevy.
