ok, so my mother in law leased a 9-3 aero conv. 3 years ago, from a dealer that has since closed. The lease company told her she could leave it anywhere, including the BMW she leased her new car from, but now it is no longer true.
To make matters worse, the car has recently been not-starting, and was towed to the local dealer, parkfield motors in NJ. She was hoping to just leave the car there, but the parkfield folks are telling her they have too many cars, since all the other dealers are closing and all the cars are going to parkfield. Now they tell her they will not accept the lease turn in, in 2 weeks either.
I'd say she should just leave it at parkfield until they start requesting a storage fee.
any suggestions?
