I honestly don't want that kind of responsibility. I worked at an indy for a year and I saw what the owner went through. Actually the reason for my original post was that I had just come from his shop. He paid me 30 bucks to diag. a CEL on a 95 900 and the funny part is the car was sublet to him by a German car shop down the street that couldn't find the problem either.
It was fine at start up, but would run way lean after about 5 minutes. Purge valve stuck open.
