yep, peddles stay the same. it only takes a few minutes to get used to the stick being different( if you are used to sticks in the first place). I learned to drive in the UK but now live in the USA, i think of myself has bi-geared!
strangely when i flew light aircraft in Scotland the choke is on the right hand side which to me always felt awkward i much preferred to sit in the second pilot seat to have it in my left hand! but to an America it would feel fine.
