is how people come down on one side of it or the other.
All but eliminating blind spots would seem to a very good thing. This process is taught at all the professional high performance driving schools (Bondurant, Skip Barber, etc.), in police driver training, in courses run by Corvette, Porsche and BMW clubs, and even AARP(!). Still, there are people who insist they need to see their own car in their rearview mirrors. Like it's going to do something unexpected.
Trust me, the back corner or rear door of your car is probably going to stay pretty much where it was when you started the car. There's no need to monitor it while driving.
