I know you don't see the edges of your car in the mirrors from your normal driving position if you adjust them with your head over the console or against the window. Been doing it that way for years.
I meant that some here have said they want or need to see some part of their car in the mirrors from their normal driving position. That's what's usually taught in high school driver's ed courses. And it makes for blind spots.
