Sorry to hear about the tough customer, as a fellow Phoenician I appreciate all you do for the Saab community. I'll take some temp readings in my 9-5 over the weekend and post them Monday or Tuesday for you. One thing I did notice in my OG9-3 that may help, with a perfect working A/C it struggled to keep the cabin cool under that black canvas top, the soft top seemed to radiate much more heat into the cabin than metal cars. Ultimately that's why I eventually got rid of the car, wasn't a great fit with Phoenix. If leaving from a garage/shaded spot I'd expect the A/C to do alright, if the car had been in direct Phoenix sun for any length of time parked - the A/C will struggle to cool the cabin for at least 30 min of driving. The soft top challenges the system quite a bit. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Take Care, Scott
