They are the ultimate all around tire.
They are about as quiet as a summer tire, have plenty of grip in snow and ice, work great in the rain, and while not as grippy in the dry as a summer tire, still do fine. And are a lot better than a dedicated snow when you're not in snowy conditions all the time.
Especially for you down in CT they will be plenty good. My kid had them year round on her 9K, including 3 Maine winters when in college. And they don't melt in heat like Blizzaks or dedicated snows.
