I have an old style Craftsman "flexing rod with a needle" non-ratcheting wrench which should be fairly accurate by design. I then use a 8-pt socket to couple it to my cheapo $30 click-type torque wrench and use it as a torque indicator. When I first tested it this way it was about 10% off. There is a single screw to set the click-on value.
