1. iPhone5 will sell well by the standards of any current competitor, but wont be enough for the world's mostly highly capitalized company. There simply isn't much of a technological reason to upgrade . . . the iPhone is technically hitting a plateau just like the iPod (Classic), last refreshed in 2007 (but every year before that from 2001 to 2007).

2. Global consumer tightening. It's not just the American consumers who are cutting back. That's reflected in global car sales (even with supply chain channel stuffing)

3. The political cost of running the world's most valuable company. Apple has so far avoided the monetary and management cost of getting too involved in DC politics. That will unfortunately change as the pols look around for new source of meat to feed the beast; what do you think the hoopla about Apple labor practices overseas was about? an invitation to make political contributions, just like the mafia used to place fake bomb scares at successful new shops: next time could be real.

4. There is no strong technical support in the stock until $200 is reached; I expect that to be reached by the end of 2013.

5. The gap in the low 400's is yearning to be filled.
