they are. And if the dog is a happy puppy or a cranky adult makes a difference. The cat on the left, full blood very old Siamese, travels well, loves people, doesn't care if any happy dog does cartwheels in the middle of the living room. He knows he is the King.
The cat on the right, 5 yr old humane society adopotee is afraid of his own shadow, and jumps 5 feet in the air when the ice dumps into the tray.
Introduce the cats to the dog/puppy so the cats are in control of how they hide, exit the room. If they like shelves and condo rug towers, make sure there are at least 2 in the room where you introduce the dog to the cats and house so they can go up high and watch if they aren't scared.
And, oh yes, its like Caturday (on fark.com) came a day early this week! Woot!
